We invite all resident guests to join us on Tuesday and Saturday mornings when we head out on farming duties. This is as much for adults as children, and is a great opportunity to meet us and ask any questions you have about what we do on the farm. We’re passionate about organic farming, rewilding and managing our land for nature, and love to talk about what we do and why. Duties vary but can include waking the chickens, giving them breakfast and collecting the eggs, letting the geese out to graze and stretch their wings and checking up on our Red Ruby Devon cattle and sheep.
Wednesday evening sessions are complimentary! Immerse yourself in nature and let us show you the wildlife treasures of our farm. All nature walks take place at Little Comfort, last around an hour and are tailored to suit any ability, novice to professional! Led by Jeremy and Jodie, owners, farmers and professional ecologists.
We recommend these sessions for adults and children age 5 and upwards.
Wednesday evening sessions are complimentary to resident guests. Additional sessions are £12 per person. Under 5’s are free. Please let us know if you have a particular request!
