Little Comfort Farm coarse fishing lake has been established for over thirty years and is situated in a quiet and beautiful location on our organic farm. It is stocked with carp, rudd, roach and bream, all in excellent condition. Extending to well over an acre the lake has well-developed marginal growth, an island at the northern end and two strong areas of lilies providing abundant plant growth to give both food and cover for the fish.
The water is shallowest close to the island at about 60cm, shelving to the outlet end where it is 1.5m deep; on the far side of the island there is a large pool of much deeper water going up to 2.2m giving a great variety of fishing from the choice of fifteen pegs round the lake.
Unlimited use of the fishing lake is included for cottage guests during their stay.
Please familiarize yourself with the Little Comfort Farm Coarse Fishing Lake Rules before you fish. We are very strict about the use of barbless hooks for the benefit of wildlife and our fish. No keepnets please and always use a landing mat.
